If you are an individual, you can use either **Sign in with Apple** or **Sign in with Google**. You can login to your account on the [iOS App](https://joinforte.com/download.html) or at [joinforte.com/login](https://joinforte.com/login). ### School Accounts Certain schools using Forte may require students to sign in with their school-issued email address using **Sign in with Google**. This is to verify that you are indeed a student. # How do I change my username? You can change your display name on Forte at any time. You can change your name and/or email. ![](/files/-M5NwXrI4oYccgeKF9Zl) {% hint style="warning" %} Names are subject to a filter to maintain a safe learning environment for all! {% endhint %} # Account Recovery If you've lost access to the email address that you use to sign in to Forte, [submit a request here](https://joinforte.com/contact?topic=Lockout). This form requires that you are actively logged in. If you cannot login to your account, email to begin the recovery process. You will have to verify your identify and prove account ownership. {% hint style="warning" %} If you cannot verify your identity, we cannot restore access to your account. {% endhint %} # Requesting a copy of your data In accordance with our [privacy policy](https://joinforte.com/privacy.html) and privacy regulations, you may request a copy of your data at any time. [Submit a request here](https://joinforte.com/contact?topic=Data%20Request) and we will provide you with a download containing your account data. Some things to keep in mind when requesting data: * If you've [requested that we delete your account](/account/deleting-your-account), we **cannot** provide a copy of your data. * When your data is ready, we will send it to the email associated with your account, not the email you used to initially request the data. * Data requests can take 5-10 business days to process. * If you request to delete your account while your data request is processing, your data request will be cancelled and your account permanently deleted. # Deleting your Account If you'd like to permanetly delete your account in accordance with our [privacy policy](https://joinforte.com/privacy.html), you may [submit a request](https://joinforte.com/contact?topic=Account%20Deletion) with your account information. Account deletions can take 3-5 business days to complete. {% hint style="danger" %} Account deletion is a permanent, irreversible process. Once we delete your account, we **cannot** restore it. {% endhint %} # Forte Basic #### Access to Basic sets Forte Basic gives access to all sets marked with the **BASIC** badge. These sets are curated by professionals and are meant to provide the best studying materials. We are constantly adding more sets and we take pride in their quality. #### Download sets for offline use You're sitting on a plane with nothing to do. However, Forte Pro automatically downloads your saved sets to your device so you can use them without an internet connection. #### Save your progress In the middle of practicing your favorite set? Have no fear. You can stop where you are and pick up later. Open the App Store 2. Click your profile picture in the top-right hand corner 3. Choose **Subscriptions** 4.
